I am an experimental biochemist with extensive hands-on experience in design, synthesis and characterization of biomolecules. My research aims to harness the power of molecular recognition to create mechanisms for diagnosis, prevention and treatment of pathological conditions. My current research interests revolve around but are not limited to:

- Targeted molecular diversification for directed evolution
- Simplification of biomolecular complexity through de novo design
- Computational protein and peptide design
- Rational design of chimeric and multi-specific antibodies
- Membrane transport mechanisms for molecular diagnosis and metabolic engineering
- Pore-based single-molecular identification and characterization of biopolymers
